christmas and holiday blend artwork reveal

As you know I've been a busy bee this year working on various design projects. I realise it's about time I show you a little more of what I've been up to. It's certainly the right season to show you the artwork I produced for Ozone's Christmas and Holiday blends. Established in 1998, Ozone Coffee Roasters is a New Zealand based specialty coffee roastery. In 2010 they launched in the UK with their Leonard Street location near Old Street roundabout, not too far away from SMUG. When I started work on CAFE SMUG a couple of years ago, Ozone stepped in to help as our coffee experts and have trained our baristas and supplied us with coffee ever since. Friends at Ozone approached me earlier in the year to ask if I'd be interested in coming up with the artwork for their 2016 Christmas and Holliday blends and this is the result. My goal was develop a festive aesthetic which could work within two very different climates. One for the UK 'Christmas' blend, and one for the New Zealand 'Holiday' blend. So I pieced together two complimentary designs  made up of bold but loose brush strokes with abstract tree motifs influenced by traditional Christmas trees from both Ozone's homelands, New Zealand and the UK. So 'Merry Christmas', or 'Happy Holidays' one and all!
